Location Park Way, Brasília
Size 450 sqm.
MM’s House is a stunning single-story residence situated in Brasília, meticulously designed for a young couple and their two children. The project faced a unique challenge—a sprawling 2,500 square-meter plot home to two majestic pequizeiro trees, native to the Brazilian Cerrado and protected by law from removal. The design thoughtfully embraces these natural landmarks, especially the central tree, seamlessly weaving the built environment with its verdant surroundings.
Reflecting the clients’ deep passion for the visual arts, the residence exhibits a daring and dynamic aesthetic rarely seen in the portfolio. The private quarters are composed of bold, block-like volumes connected by a glass corridor, which frames panoramic views of the pequizeiro, creating an inviting outdoor sanctuary beneath its expansive canopy.
The main volume is marked by an angular façade that highlights the entrance and a soaring double-height interior space—a bold architectural statement echoed in the design of the leisure area and pool. This outdoor retreat includes comfortable seating, a fireplace, and a poolside bar, encapsulating the spirit of creative audacity that defines MM’s House.
